Dark Skye Cottage is situated at Lower Milovaig, Glendale on the Isle of Skye. When you reach the island, follow the signs for Portree until you reach Sligachan, then take the left fork directly in front of the Sligachan Hotel by the wee bridge. Follow the road towards Dunvegan and around a mile before you reach it, take the left turn towards the Dunvegan Campsite. Follow this road to Glendale, then continue on to Lower Milovaig.

Fantastic House

Fantastic house in stunning location, we loved sitting in the huge window just watching the world go by and the weather change every 5 minutes.

The location is on the far West coast and easy access to Neist Point lighthouse and some great cliff walks.

We ate out at the Three Chimneys just a 10min drive along the road and cooked in the other night in the well appointed kitchen.

The owner was very friendly and gave great helpful information about the local area.

We will definitely be back the next time we visit Skye.

Stunning Property

Absolutely stunning property, in a stunning location. We felt so lucky to be staying in such a beautiful place. We all agreed this was the nicest holiday cottage we have had the pleasure to stay in. A Relaxing Stay

We recently stayed at Dark Skye Cottage and couldn’t have had a more relaxing stay. The views from the huge windows are breath taking and make you feel like you are in the landscape. The cottage was spotlessly clean and so well laid out. Paul and Sally are perfect hosts, very friendly with loads of information about local attractions and hikes. We have already arranged a return visit next year. Can’t wait!

Solitude and Scenic Views

If you love solitude, scenic views, and excellent accommodation then this place is for you.
Amazing views through the large windows. Spacious. Everything you could need for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Layout is perfect. Large lounging area, spacious kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Can't recommend this enough, we were so impressed. Thank you for a lovely holiday, it was very special indeed.

I can’t describe what is better

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days. I can’t describe what is better, our hosts, this house or nature around it. House was planned with a lot of passion and you can see it in every corner. Thank you Paul for being such a good host. Wishing you and your wife all the best.
